Define the skin endpoint
Collagen measurements, signaling proteins, wound-model observations, appearance ratings, and patient-reported outcomes are different types of evidence. A change in cells is not automatically a visible skin result.

From cell signals to skin research.
Understand what was tested before interpreting what it means. GHK-Cu attracts interest because of its role in skin and connective-tissue research. This guide explains what cell and wound-model findings can show, what they leave unanswered, and how to compare laboratory material with a finished formulation.

A 2015 experiment investigated GHK, GHK-Cu, and copper ions in cultured human dermal fibroblasts, measuring a signaling response. The word human describes the source of the cells; it does not make the experiment a clinical trial in people. [1]
A 1993 rat wound-chamber study measured extracellular-matrix accumulation after GHK-Cu exposure. It is a different model from a human cosmetic-use study. Keep those categories separate in both research notes and marketing copy. [2]
